At Home with Sofia Milos!
July 18, 2006
It took six months and lots of patience, but former "CSI: Miami" star Sofia Milos turned her 2700-square-foot modern house into a Mediterranean home that is a reflection of her international lifestyle.
"This house was pretty modern to begin with and I wanted to make it a bit softer, but you can't make a Tuscan villa out of a Zen house so I had to create something more Mediterranean and put a touch of Sofia in here, .... (click here for rest of article)
While off from CSI:Miami during season 4, Sofia filmed a new TV show called "DESIRE", which aired on MyNetworkTV, a new venture from Fox Television. And was slated to launch the new network on Sept. 5 2006 through December 2006 in the US.
Now showing in Europe, Australia, Asia and other countries.
The one hour serial drama was played out Monday through Friday at 8pm Eastern, with recaps on Saturday for a continuous 65 episodes over 13 weeks! "A completely new concept for the US. Sofia joined the cast in season one for the last nine episodes, and was a series regular on the hit TV series CSI: MIAMI since the beginning of season two, in the role of homicide detective Yelina Salas, and starring David Caruso as Horatio. CSI: MIAMI is currently seen from Asia to Australia, to Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and many more countries scoring as the top show around the globe!
Her character, detective Yelina, is a Colombian, single mother and widow of the late detective Raymond Caine, Horatio's brother who died 4 yrs ago....

Through this emotional time, feelings resurfaced for each other as well, resulting in great conflicts and sentiments simmering below the surface in season two. After Sofia completed filming her third season, her character was sent off to Brazil to many fans' disappointment.
Many of you were surprised and have wondered whether Det. Yelina Salas was coming back for season four of CSI:Miami.
Sofia loved working on CSI:MIAMI and says : "Thank you all for your great support and appreciation for what I love doing. I'll keep you posted on NEW things to come....and of course there will be plenty of CSI:Miami re-runs with Yelina Salas in it, Ciao! See you soon with something new, promise."
CSI:MIAMI, Mondays at 10:00pm on CBS.
