Sofia attended the annual Celebrity Center Gala in Los Angeles

Last night I attended the annual GALA at Celebrity Center INT here in LA!!!!
An IMPRESSIVE EVENT, which enlightens important guests from all over the world on factual statistics achieved in this past year alone, where Scientology tech (-nology) was needed, applied and appreciated.

The presentation of the activities, expansion and amazing contribution to society is clearly shown, and as a result, many new supporters at the highest levels and of any religious faith join us in our cause and activities.

Every year, with it's perfect Hollywood Gala soiree, it positions our group as one that is immediately admired by the ones attending it, as they find out what Scientology is truly all about. No bias, no critics, no bullshit.

Every year there is more impressive speakers at the gala, no matter what race, color or religion, who share their moving stories and massive wins they had by applying some of the secular social betterment programs based on L. Ron Hubbard's work.

This Year one of the Guest speakers of the night that blew me away, was the mayor of Baton Rouge, Kip Holden, who not only acknowledged the church of Scientology and its members, especially the Volunteer Ministers, for all their endless help during and after Katrina, but also shared how after he saw the true condition his schools, teacher and its students were in, he needed an effective solution and started implementing the study of technology into local schools!!! Sharing with us the incredible wins he's seen so far and encouraging others to do something about it where it's needed and they can and change a situation for the better.

My favorite sentence mayor Kip Holden said last night: "I decided, why wait for the law to approve? I am the law!" I was very moved by his courage, confront, integrity and passion for what he does as mayor for his city and for who needs help. The crowd cheered with a standing ovation.

Another wonderful speaker was Reverend James Mc Laughlin, the Global Director of the of the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Ministry - African Methodist Episcopal Church.
His speech was wonderful, encouraging, enlightening.
One of the things he said was, that he wanted to help many of his parishioners' problems with drugs.
He found the "Answer to his prayers to God and Jesus through the mail!", he said with his warm, deep voice, "That's how me and my wife found out about Narconon", he smiled.
After seeing the inspiring results, he knew he had found the solution and Reverend James Mc Laughlin now made Narconon available to all his parishioners, by adopting Narconon as an official program in the Methodist Episcopal church!!!

Last Year we had Congressman Margerita Lopez, a woman whose passion was for CCHR's purpose is after my very own heart, she spoke about CCHR and its effective movement against psychiatric drugging of children for pseudo diseases like ADD or ADHD. As 8,000,000 kids in the US alone are a targeted by psychiatric interests in this highly profitable market and sedated by drugs like Ritalin into a "socially appropriate behavior". Point is, parents have a right to know its damaging effects and should have a choice along with alternate solutions... don't get me going....
Well, this year we had Congressman Brad Sherman as a Guest speaker, who gave a commendation to the church of Scientology for its new HUMAN RIGHTS public announcement PSA's (Public Service Announcements). Which, by the way, are mind blowing and so beautifully done.
That commendation was moving. I know it takes true integrity to be honest in a society where sometimes it's made difficult.
But no matter what, people have rights and have a right to know, to be informed and to be given a choice based on true information free of discrimination and religious intolerance. You agree?

And last but not least of the speakers of the night in representation of the CRIMINON programs, was the Sheriff of Orange County CA. He has over 20 years background in the correctional system and confirmed he has never seen any program like ours. He stressed how it is a fact that most inmates come out of prison in worse shape after years of punishment while being locked up and as a result 70% of those return to prison after committing another crime. If you think about it, it's another crime that's in OUR streets and neighborhoods. The results he illustrated and his words of validation to our group and to CRIMINON after seeing his inmates recover their self respect and change their lives just by doing the correspondence The Way to Happiness course were very, very touching. He was very happy to see that he found the solution! And we are thrilled he used our available help, to help others!

THIS WEEK, THE LARGEST GOVERNMENT CONTRACT FOR A CRIMINON PROGRAM IN LATIN AMERICA WAS FINALIZED!!!!!!!!
Last year the beautiful First Lady of Panama and her staff visited to LA . They all were introduced to our social betterment activities and toured all our International headquarters and met our key Executives. After all the enlightenment that followed, they knew they had to start implementing the CRIMINON programs in their country as they had nothing to lose but much to gain, and so they did. They started in a women prison just like Honduras and their first contract of $600,000 will expand this delivery in that prison. THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING for PANAMA and LATIN AMERICA.

It's important you all know how easy it is to help someone to DO SOMETHING EFFECTIVE ABOUT a situation.
They may be friends, associates, relatives, who are or know of someone who has gone to prison, has problems with drugs, alcohol or for example wants more information before putting their child on a Psychiatric drug prescribed, or simply wants to know more about Scientology and its purpose and why it is for all creeds, color and walks of Life and why it is the fastest growing religion in the world.

THINGS EITHER GET BETTER OR THEY GET WORSE. IT ALL DEPENDS WHAT ONE DOES ABOUT ANY SITUATION AND THE ETHICS MORALS AND INTEGRITY IN DOING SO.
There is a need to resolve such ills as declining educational standards, highschool dropouts, drug and alcohol abuse used to suppress real issues at hand, and moral decay.
Scientology offers understandable, workable and effective solutions for a happier and more purposeful Life available to everyone of any religion.
Not a great thing for who has vested interest in keeping our society ignorant, drugged controlled and at effect to one degree or another.
But for man who seeks his rights and his freedom TO BE it is.
